Colorado law requires a SAFE home study for all people who wish to adopt children. Home studies are used whether it's a domestic or international adoption, or to adopt a family member. The home study is written by a member of our staff who was trained by the State of Colorado to do SAFE home studies and who has previous SAFE home study writing experience. We are on the state approved vendor list.

The home study process involves four interviews in the applicant's home that usually take about one and a half hours. Applicants must also submit documents, allow a home inspection and do background checks.
